Have people seen the "The Four Points" posters around the church and centre? I think it is such a profound message that I have bought 1000 tracks with the message on for us to give away! It gives the Christian messages in four simple symbols.
The first symbol is the heart, which means God loves you - this is the foundation that the whole Christian faith is based on. Everything that God does through the whole Bible comes from the fact that God is love and loves us.
The Second is the X symbol, which means we have sinned / gone wrong. Who can deny this!? We only have to look to our own past, I am sure, to see that we have not always done what we should have done. Also when we read the newspapers or watch the TV we see the world is not all it should be and we can see this is from sin, for example human greed!
The third symbol is the Cross, which represents Jesus died for us. This has got to be the greatest, most fantastic story ever told! God himself came to earth because of our sin so that we may be set free from all that has gone wrong! Free to live life to the full.
And the final symbol is the Question Mark, which asks the question, what are we going to do about it? Jesus says that he is the way, the truth and the life and this means the only real answer to that question is, follow Jesus with our whole lives - if we really want to live full and joyous lives!
Do collect some of the tracks and give them to your friends, your family members and your neighbours!
Love and Blessings
