Playcentre

At the HCC Playcentre we aim to provide and support high quality childcare, play and early education, offering equality of opportunity and access for all. We offer excellent care and facilities including large indoor and outdoor play areas.

The Staff: The Playcentre team includes qualified Early Years Practitioners and experienced volunteers. N.V.Q. training provided and training available for volunteer workers.

Nursery and Toddlers: A stimulating play environment where we care for up to 9 babies and toddlers per session from 0-2 years old.

Tweenies: A large well equipped playroom for up to 15 children per session from 2-3 years old.

Pre-School: HCC operates a busy, structured learning environment for up to 20 children per session from 3-5 years old.

Nursery Education: Registered providers of Nursery Education for children aged 3-5 years. We offer high quality early years provision in a stimulating environment. Our last Ofsted inspection report in October 2007 was very good.

Parent and Toddler: We hold a vibrant parent and toddler group each week which meets on Fridays from 9.30 – 11.00.

The Playcentre has the Bradford Early Years Inclusion Quality Standard Gold award. This demonstrates our commitment to providing a high quality inclusive provision for children with additional needs and their families.
